The big idea around Healthy Ambition is that many people have loads of ambition when it comes to things they desire or dividends they wish to receive, but precious few have loads of ambition when it comes to developing new skills and as a result, delivering new (and higher) forms of value to others.
People are ambitious for pay increases, title increases, prestige increases, etc. but less so about the work of developing self and delivering more value.
Healthy Ambition is about matching one's ambition for "personal desires and dividends" (internal focus) to one's ambition for "personal development and delivery" (external focus).
